Dr. Pradipta Basu is the Chief Marketing Officer at Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABDL). A seasoned marketing strategist and business leader, he brings over 25 years of distinguished experience across the FMCG and Alcobev sectors to the leadership team.

Dr. Basu has a proven track record of driving business growth through marketing leadership, brand development, and category management. Prior to joining ABDL, he held senior leadership positions at several marquee organizations, including Radico Khaitan, United Spirits (Diageo), ITC, Godfrey Phillips, Alcobrew Distilleries, and HJ Heinz.

Dr. Basu holds a Ph.D. in Management from École Supérieure Robert de Sorbonne, France, and is an alumnus of IIM Calcutta, where he completed his Postgraduate studies in Business Management. He also holds an MBA from Visva-Bharati University and is a graduate of Ranchi University. Additionally, he holds a DNIIT certification and a degree in Hotel Management.
