With over 40 years of experience, Mr. Chhabria is a distinguished leader in the alcobev industry. In the alcobev business, he commenced his career with Shaw Wallace & Co. Ltd. in 1987, where he played a key role in improving market share for established Brands while introducing new products. He subsequently served as Executive Vice Chairman of Herbertsons Ltd. from 1995 to 2005.

Mr. Chhabria has been Chairman of ABD Ltd. since the Company’s inception and currently serves as Non Executive Chairman. He continues to mentor the Senior Management team on matters of strategic importance.

Mr. Nasser Mukhtar Munjee holds a master’s degree in economics from the London School of Economics. He earlier held various positions, including executive director, at HDFC for over 20 years. He was the managing director of IDFC.

Currently, Mr. Munjee is the chairman of DCB Bank. He is also on the boards of various multinational companies like Cummins India Ltd, The Indian Hotels Company Limited, Tata Motors Finance Limited, etc. Mr. Munjee has deep interest in rural development, housing finance, urban issues, infrastructure and humanitarian causes. He was a technical advisor to the World Bank’s Public Private Partnership Infrastructure and Advisory Fund.

Mr. Munjee was adjudged best Independent Director by the Asian centre for Corporate Governance and Sustainability. He was also awarded the Indian Business Leader of the year 2014 by Horasis in Switzerland.

Bala Swaminathan (Bala) is a Founder of and CEO of a regulated fund management and wealth advisory business in Singapore focusing on credit opportunities and advising accredited investors on their investment portfolio. He is also an investor in early-stage companies. With almost two decades of banking experience in Asia, Bala has a proven track record in building regional businesses and deep expertise in risk management.

Prior to this Bala was Westpac Banking Corporation’s President of International between 2012 and 2018 with overall responsibility for Westpac’s operations in Asia, Europe & America, in particular growing the Bank’s footprint and supporting Westpac’s customers doing business internationally.

Immediately prior to joining Westpac, Bala worked with Bank of America Merrill Lynch as its Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Global Corporate and Investment Banking, where he was responsible for providing the strategic direction for the bank’s corporate and investment banking businesses in India.

Before that, Bala headed up the origination and client coverage business for South and Southeast Asia at Standard Chartered Bank as a Senior Managing Director, where he was responsible for corporate and institutional clients in key markets including Singapore, India and Indonesia. During his time, he also worked briefly in the office of the CEO of Standard Chartered Bank to evolve the inorganic strategy of the Bank during the global financial crisis of 2008.

Prior to that, Bala was Senior General Manager and Head of Corporate Bank of ICICI Bank and oversaw the transformation of ICICI from a project finance institution to a commercial bank.

He joined ICICI as its CFO from KPMG India of which he was a founding member. As a Partner at KPMG, Bala was primarily tasked with overseeing the financial sector. Bala began his career as a banking auditor with KPMG in Asia before being promoted to a partner.

Bala has been an independent board member on several boards of listed companies in India including JSW Steel, Orient Paper, First Source, Arvind Mills, Srei Infrastructure Finance Ltd etc. and has been an advisory board member of Standard Chartered Private Bank and Westpac Banking Corporation.

Vivek joined New Silk Route Advisors in February 2007 and focused on private equity opportunities in the Indian sub-continent out of the Mumbai office. NSR has invested in education, financial services, media & telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, renewable energy and consumer services.

Prior to joining NSR, Vivek was Chief Financial Officer of Tata Realty and Infrastructure where he was mandated to lead the Tata Group’s funding of a US$ 5 billion initiative to exploit the growth in the Indian Realty and Infrastructure Sectors.

As Chief Financial Officer of Tata Teleservices Ltd. in 2002, Vivek structured the funding of complex, capital-intensive projects and restructured distressed assets with different groups of senior lenders and creditors.

Paul was CEO & COO of Glenmorangie for 5 years; Regional Director Asia Pacific at Moet Hennessy, SVP Strategy for Moet Hennessy and was a Partner in L Capital, LVMH’s sponsored private equity fund focused on the consumer sector. Paul was Chair of the Artisanal Spirits Company (SMWS) from 2015 up until its successful IPO on AIM in June 2021. Paul co-founded Inverleith Private Equity in 2016 with Ben Thomson.

Paul has a master’s in chemical engineering from Imperial College, London and has an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD. Paul was the UK INSEAD Alumni President from 2014-2017 and is currently a member of the global Alumni Exco.

Maneck N. Mulla, an advocate and solicitor with over 20 years of experience, is a fourth-generation lawyer having first worked in his family firm of M/s. Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe as a partner. Thereafter, Maneck was a partner with M/s. Wakhariya & Wakhariya, Advocates and Solicitors (affiliated with Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, New York).

Maneck founded the firm of M Mulla Associates in the year 2010 and under his leadership and guidance, the Firm has steadily grown and has gained a reputation for its professional and result-oriented approach.

In the course of advising clients, Maneck has dealt with several issues relating to land titles, acquisition of land, mortgages, leases and development agreements. Arun Barik possesses over 32 years of work experience in the alcobev industry, having worked with names like Shaw & Wallace and Co, BDA Ltd, Seagram – Pernod Ricard India and Mason and Summers Alcobev Pvt. Ltd.

Arun joined Shaw & Wallace and Co’s Liquor Division II as a trainee Blender in 1988 and rose to head the all-India Assignment of Blending, Quality, Project and Product Development. Over a span of 5 years, he worked on brands such as Officers Choice, Thousand Guineas, Calypso Rum, Class Whisky, and Mc Shaw Brandy.

He spent a year at BDA Ltd. before moving on to Seagram – Pernod Ricard India for a period of 9 years.

Part of the Seagram founding team, Arun joined in 1994 as a Manufacturing Manager and set up the first manufacturing outlet at Duarala. He worked on the international product development of Blenders Pride, Royal Stag, Oaken Glow and Imperial Blue, alongside the local launches of international brands like Hundred Piper, Passport, Something Special Scotch and Seagram Extra Dry Gin.

As a second project, he worked towards establishing an integrated state-of-the-art Grain Distillery Blending and Bottling R&D Centre in 1998. He additionally introduced integrated risk management by ensuring that the project adhered to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHAS 18000 and HACCP standards in collaboration with Zurich Risk Engineering, to get the project certified under 4 standards.

He was also part of the founding team and head of manufacturing at Mason and Summers Alcobev Pvt. Ltd., where he was instrumental to international collaboration for the introduction of the first ever locally bottled Single Malt – Glen Drummond in three variants.

Arun joined ABD in February 2009 and presently serves as the Head Manufacturing and Technical. He is a master blender who is responsible for curation and refinement of product blends, while overlooking the entire manufacturing operation as well as ensuring quality adherence and control across all units.

With over 3 decades of experience, he has held the position of Chief Financial Officer since 2003 across multiple organizations, including Allied Blenders from 2010 to 2024, bringing deep institutional knowledge and strategic financial expertise. Post September 2024, in recognition of his significant contribution and institutional knowledge, he was retained in a senior management advisory role.

Prior to joining Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited, Mr. Ramaswamy was the Chief Financial Officer of Jubilant Oil & Gas Private Limited, where he played a key role in financial structuring, capital allocation, enhancing governance and played a key role in international listing of the company. Monish is a senior commercial leader with over 28 years of experience across the alco-bev and consumer goods sectors, with a proven track record of driving above-market growth and transforming business performance.

In his most recent role as Vice President – Sales, Southern Region at United Spirits Limited, he steered one of Diageo India’s largest geographies by Net Sales Value (NSV), combining strategic foresight with granular market execution.

He has earlier worked in Mahindra & Mahindra and Godrej & Boyce. His expertise spans sales strategy, trade marketing, and route-to-market optimization, with a consistent focus on delivering profitable growth.

Bikram Basu is the Managing Director of ABD Maestro Private Limited, a subsidiary of Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited. ABD Maestro focuses on building a super-premium and luxury spirits portfolio.

Bikram brings with him rich experience in the spirits industry from leading organisations, having started with United Spirits for 6 years, followed by 14 years in Pernod Ricard India, and now close to 11 years with ABD. His previous leadership roles have been in Business and Brand Strategy, Marketing and Sales. The success of several market-leading brands in the country has been attributed to his initiation. He has also worked in the apex industry body CIABC for more than 10 years, having served as Vice-Chairman between 2015-2018. He is currently on the Board of CIABC.

Bikram completed his Bachelor of Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and his MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur in 1994. He holds a certificate for Executive Development from INSEAD.

Mr. Jayantt Bhalchandra Manmadkar holds a Master’s degree in Commerce and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Works Accountant (ICWA), and Company Secretary (CS). He brings with him over 32 years of rich experience in finance, strategy, and leadership roles across diverse industry sectors, including financial services, pharmaceuticals, research & development, manufacturing, real estate, and retail.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Manmadkar has held senior positions with leading organizations such as Seagram India Pvt. Ltd., Brigade Enterprises Ltd., Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd., Sai Life Sciences Ltd., Cohance Lifesciences Ltd, Wockhardt Ltd., and Reliance Retail, among others.

His areas of expertise include strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, international operations, treasury and corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, taxation, investor relations, information technology, corporategovernance, and corporate affairs.

Mr. Manmadkar’s extensive experience and proven track record in managing finance and business strategy at both national and international levels make him a valuable addition to any leadership team.

Mukund J. is the Head – Investor Relations and Chief Risk Officer of our Company. He has been associated with our Company since December 18, 2023.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Delhi, a post graduate diploma in business administration from the Institute for Technology and Management, a post graduate diploma in treasury and forex management from the ICFAI University and a master’s degree in financial analysis from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Tripura.

He is a fellow member of CPA Australia and a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, United Kingdom. Prior to joining our Company, he was associated with Raymond Limited, Reliance Communications Ltd., Adventity Global Services Pvt. Ltd., Vodafone Essar Ltd, Stratcap Securities (India) Private Limited and Zuari Cement Ltd.

Mithun brings with him over 24 years of experience in the alcobev industry. His foray within the industry began with Shaw Wallace Distilleries Ltd. in 1998 followed by stints with United Distillers and Vintners in Nigeria, United Spirits Limited, Diageo India Pvt. Ltd. and Nigerian Distilleries Limited, Nigeria.

He joined ABD in June 2010 as a Zonal Manufacturing Head for the East and returned in June 2014 as Regional Manufacturing Head for the largest volume contributor South Region. Subsequently he joined ABD HO to manage operations for 30 CBU units across India. In his current role as Head – Manufacturing and Technical he will be managing the overall supply function to continually drive cost optimization, expanding the manufacturing network and inducting new age technologies to drive efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

Mithun holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering and a B. Sc. Chemistry (Honors) from Calcutta University.

Dr. Pradipta Basu is the Chief Marketing Officer at Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABDL). A seasoned marketing strategist and business leader, he brings over 25 years of distinguished experience across the FMCG and Alcobev sectors to the leadership team.

Dr. Basu has a proven track record of driving business growth through marketing leadership, brand development, and category management. Prior to joining ABDL, he held senior leadership positions at several marquee organizations, including Radico Khaitan, United Spirits (Diageo), ITC, Godfrey Phillips, Alcobrew Distilleries, and HJ Heinz.

Dr. Basu holds a Ph.D. in Management from École Supérieure Robert de Sorbonne, France, and is an alumnus of IIM Calcutta, where he completed his Postgraduate studies in Business Management. He also holds an MBA from Visva-Bharati University and is a graduate of Ranchi University. Additionally, he holds a DNIIT certification and a degree in Hotel Management.

Rajesh Parida is an expert in regulatory and policy advocacy bringing with him over 25 years of varied industry experience in private and public Sector Viz –alco beverages, metro & rail, construction & mining vehicles, Aerospace, Military vehicles, defence Shipbuilding, Metals & mining, infocom & electronic media.

Rajesh has joined ABD after serving over a decade working with Pernod Ricard in India and Brussels, leading the industry in policy reforms agenda in South & Eastern markets in India, Srilanka and Bilateral trade agenda for Asian countries. In his earlier stints, he has worked with BEML LIMITED, Goa Shipyard Ltd., Reliance Engineering Associates Ltd.(RIL Group) and Indian Charge Chrome Ltd(IMFA Group) in spearheading governance, communications, media & CSR function. He has been instrumental in federal policy reforms like privatisation of internet regime, infocomm services, opening up of mining and coal licensing sectors, Green field projects.

Rajesh is an alumnus of Indian institute of Mass Communication, has completed his post graduate diploma in management from Goa Institute of Management studies, PGDM in Public Relations from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan.

A Human Resources Professional with over 27 years’ Global experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development and Hospitality Operations, with proven expertise in designing and implementing high impact HR processes and policies globally.

Ralin has performed multiple strategic roles across brands, strategic business units and geographies during his 23 years association with Indian Hotels Company Limited, A Tata Group company. In his last assignment at IHCL, Ralin served as the Vice President – Human Resources responsible for HR operations across hotels in US, UK, Africa, UAE, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and South India. Ralin has the experience in Organizational Restructuring, Culture Building, Performance Management, Talent Management and Employee Relations.

Ralin has done his PGCHRM from XLRI, Jamshedpur and Global HR Leadership Program from National University of Singapore (NUS).

Ramesh is a qualified Law Graduate (2004 batch) and has 20 years of experience as a legal professional
across different sectors including Manufacturing and Chemical.

His expertise lies in all legal work, leading the legal function and responsible to protect the organization’s director’s and KMP’s interest against risk of criminal prosecution for alleged non-compliance, litigations, breach of contract, protection of Intellectual Property Rights, formulate strategy to bring down debtor’s list and has worked across MNCs and Indian Promoter driven organizations.

Ramesh began his career as a practicing lawyer handling litigation matters and then made a shift to Corporate where he has been involved in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing business contracts, in addition to handling litigation matters. He is currently working as a Head of Legal with Blue Star Limited for past 2.5 Years.

Sumeet is a qualified Company Secretary (2000 batch) and has 24 plus years of experience as a secretarial professional across different sectors including Manufacturing, NBFC and Automobile.
His expertise lies in all secretarial work including oversea the Governance practices, Committees and Board Meetings preparations, Statutory Compliance, filing to the ROC e-forms and Stock Exchange intimations, advising group companies on secretarial matters and has worked across MNCs and Fortune 500 companies.

He has worked on the development of in-house RPT applications for identification of RPs and collation of transactions at Mahindra Group level, worked on various corporate restructuring projects including drafting Scheme of Amalgamations, various Acquisitions and Divestments. He has last worked as a General Manager-Corporate Secretarial with Mahindra & Mahindra Limited for past 15 Years (in 2 stints).

He will be responsible for re-engineering existing processes and align them to the requirements of a listed company. His focus would be on compliances, smooth functionality of the entire secretarial function, simplification and digitization of processes.

Varun is Procurement & Supply Chain strategist with over 27 years of enriched experience in managing Sourcing & Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management & Development, Materials & Inventory Management, and Logistics & Commercial Operations for large Global and Indian manufacturing organizations. Varun has worked with Honda Cars India, SABMiller India, Honda Logistics India and United Breweries Limited prior to joining the ABD in July 2012.

Varun is heading Supply Chain & Procurement and responsible for developing Safe & Sustainable Supply Chain & Procurement processes and delivering tangible value to ABD by innovatively optimizing procurement costs, mitigating risks, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring timely supply of materials to support manufacturing operations.

Varun completed his PGPMX(MBA) from Indian Institute of Management, Indore. He has also done his Chief Operating Officer Program from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
