Roopak Chaturvedi brings with him over 23 years of experience in leading Sales and Marketing for reputed brands in FMCG, pharmaceuticals and the alcoholic beverages sectors.
Roopak began his career with the FMCG giant Marico managing multiple responsibilities and moving up the ranks to lead Sales for the West region. He had a successful stint at Nicholas Piramal (now Abbott) heading Trade Management moving on to lead the largest unit of Pepsi-Co India as VP Operations.
In his previous experience with ABD from 2008-15, in the capacity of Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, he was responsible for launching 6 brands and successfully repositioning the flagship brand Officer’s Choice resulting in high growth and a profitable business turnaround.
He joined Bacardi India in 2015 as Senior Director Commercial (Sales and Customer Marketing), India and Neighbouring Countries. He was instrumental in initiating the customer marketing function and creating a profitable scale in India and South Asia
As Chief Commercial Officer, Roopak is responsible for sales and profitability growth.
He holds a MBA (Marketing) from IISWBM and has completed the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School and Advanced Leadership Program from the Miami Business School
